Serve

Serving others is at the heart of our mission to be a movement of Jesus' Kingdom. We believe that by serving, we not only make a difference in our community but also grow in our faith and connect more deeply with others. It’s about putting our faith into action, meeting the needs around us, and reflecting the love of Christ in tangible ways.
We believe the church is a movement of Jesus' Kingdom and that the life of our church is connected to the life of our community. SERVE is the outreach arm of MVMNT Church.

Local Partners

We believe one of the greatest ways for us to make lasting local change is to partner with and support amazing organizations here in our city.

The Lugo McGinness Academy

The Lugo McGinness Academy is a small, non-traditional academy that serves  Charlottesville City School students in grades 8-12 in a supportive, trauma-responsive environment to meet students' social and emotional needs.

The Shelter For Help In Emergency

S.H.E. is committed to providing a safe, supportive, confidential, and respectful environment in which survivors of domestic violence are empowered with the knowledge of personal and community resources, as well as the skills needed to make informed decisions for themselves and their families.

Georgia's Friends

Georgia’s Friends provides programs and services in the Charlottesville-Albemarle community to help women suffering from drug and alcohol addiction and co-occurring mental health challenges. Georgia’s House, the signature initiative, provides hope and healing through a safe, therapeutic and structured home for women in recovery.

Hope is Everything

Hope is Everything provides duffels and luggage to the local Social Services organization so they can disperse these resources to children placed in protective custody. For recently released inmates, they provide backpacks filled with personal hygiene items and weather-appropriate clothing as needed.”

Annual Serve Day

Join us for our Annual Serve Day, where we dedicate a full day to serving our community through various projects and outreach efforts. It’s a great opportunity to make a big impact and connect with others who are passionate about serving.

Annual Christmas Angel Tree

Every year, we host our Angel Tree Project, providing gifts and support to families in need during the holiday season. It’s a wonderful way to spread joy and make a difference during the Christmas season.

Missions

We also partner with organizations for missions and other external opportunities. Participate in missions trips and initiatives to serve beyond our local community.
